The Crofton Cares Foundation is proud to support Breakthrough Public Schools through a donation to their library initiative, which aims at establishing a fully staffed and stocked library at each campus. Breakthrough Public Schools has a mission to provide Cleveland scholars with an education that empowers them to lead lives full of impact and opportunity, and believes literacy is the foundation of that mission.
“A network-wide investment in formal, dedicated libraries will dramatically expand student access to diverse, high-quality books, foster a deep love for reading, and create inclusive spaces that reflect the cultures and aspirations of our communities,” stated Andrew McRae, CEO of Breakthrough Public Schools. “This initiative is about more than books – it is about creating joyful, brave, and belonging spaces that help our scholars discover who they are and what they can become.”
This partnership reflects Crofton Cares’ commitment to advancing literacy and creating meaningful opportunities that help students thrive academically and beyond.
